Visual Design & Development

Web

My web work is defined by functional simplicity—unobtrusive interfaces that are easy for users to digest. Varying by project, I've been involved not just in UI design but also in UX design and front-end development.

LeadsOnline (2018)

  • Front-End Development (CSS, HTML, JS)

Tools Used

Details

LeadsOnline specializes in software that helps detectives solve crimes while streamlining the reporting process for businesses (that are required by law to report transactions to local police). One of my first tasks was to declutter and modernize the brand, including its marketing assets, namely the website. There was no previous design language established, so that was something that took form over several years within the website, marketing collateral, and the LeadsOnline web application.

This particular update to the marketing site included the addition of testimonials on the home page. An associated "News and Success Stories" subdomain was also added for housing the hundreds of testimonials and news-related content about LeadsOnline. This massive archive helps boost the search presence of the LeadsOnline website.

During my consultancy at Verizon, I was primarily involved with conceptual UI design. The mockup you see below is a concept for the Verizon Small Business Center portal, which was being reworked at the time. I was part of a team that included other designers, and I worked closely and mostly with design personnel.

Lubert-Adler was one of many clients I worked with while producing work for XenoPsi, a creative agency, in New York. This was a straightforward project that included a useful collection of photography assets of Lubert-Adler's properties. Overall, it was one my favorite compositions for XenoPsi.

Details

I worked with PlainsCapital bank through my position as a Senior Designer at a design and development agency in Dallas. This was one of the first projects I worked on of its magnitude, and also one of the first that included comprehensive UX work created by an information architecture team. This led to a more refined composition, UI, and website experience. The design helped modernize the PlainsCapital Bank brand.
